Since you trusted me with your vote in 2011 all Local Councils have seen huge reductions in government funding. As leader of the Council I had to take the lead in dealing with rising demand and falling income. We have dealt with the problem and kept Council Tax to a minimum.

Our priorities are to look after the vulnerable, give children the best start, and grow the economy for jobs and prospects for our children. In spite of the difficulties we have made a great start.

A new retail centre in Hereford with 1,000 new jobs.  Rotherwas Enterprise Zone with several thousands of new jobs in view. £43m from Govt. for new infrastructure and homes. New waste plant to save money on landfill charges - and much more.

In Colwall: I lead the discussions to fund the new Primary school. Support the action group on broiler units at Chances Pitch. Supported the Parish Council in planning for the bottling site development. Support Bosbury Council in the battles against overdevelopment and flooding.

Liaise with the Locality Steward to get the jobs you want done. Run Ward surgeries to deal with your local problems. As Leader and Cabinet Member for finance I am well placed to represent your ward.

The opposition wants to raise Council Tax to pay for services. I believe the answer is to increase efficiency and lower the costs of delivery. Now more than ever we need solid Conservative values of self reliance, low taxes and sound financial management. That is what we have delivered and with your vote, that is what I will continue.

Tony is also a member of the County Councils Network, on the Local Government Association, a member of the Lower Severn Internal Drainage Board, a member of the Malvern Hills Joint advisory Committee for the ANOB and on the Marches LEP Board.

Tony is a retired Bank Director.
